In this digital arms race, staying ahead of the curb is important, and Epic Games plans to do just that. To put it bluntly, the resources the developers can spare to improve their anti-cheat cannot be matched by individuals creating hacks/cheats. Epic Games is constantly updating their anti-cheat software, and all third-party software used for cheating/hacking will be rendered useless eventually. With all that said, it's best to steer clear of any hacks or cheats in Fortnite. Xbox is mostly modded controllers via USB and macros.

I have seen quite a few aimbot and wallhacking mods via USB on PS4, not so far on Xbox.

Rather than paying money to obtain God-like skills in Fortnite, players will end up having their system hacked. On PS4 and Xbox both you can also get modded controllers to gain aimbot like aim-assists, no recoil and rapid fire. While not all cheats/hacks come with nasty digital viruses, most of them do. Much like skin changer apps for Fortnite, many of these third-party software come with malware and trojans.īut since users are hellbent on being the best in-game, they'll ignore the red flags and use the software without a second thought. Downloading anything onto a computer from random sources is not a good idea. Regardless of what "trusted sellers" might say, aimbot software or other third-party hacking tools are not safe.
